I bought a 2004 CRF 150F. It ran but not great. Hard to start and would not idle. Followed your suggestions and it runs like a new bike now. Amazing. Thank you.

Thanks for the video. I did the power mod to my 2004 Honda CRF150F. My exhaust was already uncorked. I did a 42 pilot jet, and a 110 main jet. Uncorked the air box and added a no toil pre-oiled air filter. Bike starts so easy and runs so much better. I also will be installing a pro circuit t4 exhaust system next week.

Great video - wow so you can't adjust the air screw w/o a special tool? Good to know as looking to buy a CRF150 soon and mostly likely will rejet to "wake" it up some. Again, thanks for taking the time to make a nice, clear and easy to follow video.

I always wondered what the heck people were talking about w/ the snorkel. Mine was already removed, but I did put a piece of scrap screen over the top to help keep "big" stuff out.

I removed the baffle but I’m not removing the air snorkel. I am rejetting it putting a 42 slow jet and a 110 main. Does anyone think the 110 will be to rich. Or should I run a 108 main

I went by your video, good video by the way. It idles so much better but does the same thing your did when you Rev it. like it wants to die or not enough fuel to much air. did you ever adjust your fuel screw? and did it fix the issue?

New exhaust system then a re jet. Some people get a better carb as well. Adds 2-5 hp

What did you use on that air filter? Regular oil? You need to use bel-ray or PJ1 or a filter specific oil if you want that bike to last. I did the same mod. 115 main 42 pilot and adj needle. I have the same bog but it only happens when you whack full throttle from idle and when would a rider ever need to do that. If your doing a motocross start the revs are already high so basically you will never notice it. I also did the shims in the forks, it helps a little. If your a taller rider, risers work great. I have the same year and have a full review on my channel.

I Have a 04' crf150f and just re-jetted the carb with a 42 and a 110. I would go with something bigger but that's all I got in kit. I cleaned my filter and took snore out. Also has baffle removed but still had chrome tip. It wants to bog out when I go to start it and won't take gas until a lil bit of idling. Would it be the screw you was talking about? It also wants to bog out while riding but has more power.

Tightening it in, leans it out, backing it out riches in. ~1.5 turns out after it's been seated is typically the "default" where you want to start then play with it to find the best position. There are after market fuel screws that you can buy that you can adjust on the fly for under $20 - so worth it to be able to adjust the carb "on the go" due to temp's/eleveation changes, etc.

Taking the baffle out without re-jetting it could cause it to run lean (and therefore hot) , especially if you open the airbox as well. If you properly re-jet you won't have a problem.

you just use a torx bit to take the screw out then you can use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry between the baffle and the pipe to loosen it up. After that you can just start the bike and rev it a bit to get the baffle to slip out
