I just bought this exact same bike (year and all) for my son tonight. He (10yrs old) got finished building his own dirt bike 2 months ago, started with an Apollo frame. Bought every piece (EVERY PEICE) new and added it to the frame till he completed his own 125. Last Wednesday evening some A hole came onto our property and stole his dirt bike. I literally went to work and cried because of what happened. And to a 10 yr old kid at that. So I did my research. And decided on this bike. Oh, don't worry about him being only 10. He's 5'1" adult 7.5 shoe and 28/26 pants. Yes he's 10 I swear. Built just like Zack Thomas (Dolphins). And to think I'm only 5'11". But all in all. My little man deserves this bike. I felt like he was being punished for absolutely nothing at all. You have fun with it bro. I'm sure he will!! #bikelife #looktwice

Mr. StealYourGrill 1 lucky i have a crf70f my grandpa got me on my 13th birthday (14 now) it is a great starter but i have really outgrown it in every way. I am about 5.3ish and i have been trying to find out what bike would be best for pretty cheap( my parents are definitely not going to buy me another, my mom didnt even want me to have a doodlebug minibike let alone a pit bike/ dirtbike.) so i have about 650 in cash saved for a pc/ laptop but i am starting to think i want to save up for a year or two and work towards buying a db for anywhere from $800-$1800. What are any suggestions if you have any?
@mr.stealyourgrill11904 жыл бұрын
@@okanoyuki the crf150f is gonna be your best bet for power and size, you also have the Yamaha ttr125 and the Kawasaki klx125 I believe all of these will run anywhere from 800 to 1600 i saved up for several years and got my 150 for 1k, which is a good deal. But yeah if I were you I'd go for the honda just because you get more bang for your buck. And I had a 70 for years till I got my 150 I still ride it when I wanna just mess around.

Note for 2vintage:" When checking oil with a dip stick that threads in, you DO NOT need to thread the dip stick in to check the oil level. You simply rest the dip stick in the hole, hold it for a few seconds and then check. You will get a incorrect reading if you thread it in - Tells you right in the manual...

Use Mothers aluminum polish on the white plastic. I know it sounds werid, but it works. You won't be sorry. Also, you shouldn't twist in the oil level cap. Just set it in there and pull it back out.
