That copyright claim is on your behalf only, you'll get money from that video through TuneCore. But if your channel is monetized, you can whitelist / allowlist your channel on TuneCore and remove the copyright claim.

Do i need to have a video ready when i am releasing on tunecore. 3. Is it preferrable to create a new youtube channel to upload my original content or i can use my existing youtube channel for the upload?

1. You'll get content id on each song you release based on the eligibility of it. If your release is eligible and you select the content id while releasing, then you'll get content ID on that song. Content ID is not on the channel, it's on songs. 2. Video is not necessary, music videos and audio releases are totally separate things. No Distributor will ask for a music video and it doesn't matter if you want to release one or not. 3. It is preferable to keep your KZbin channel's content based on music, if it's related to music in any way, you can release your originals on the same

If it's processing, then it is under review with TuneCore staff. It'll be approved / rejected (hopefully approved) in the next 2-3 days, till then please wait. You'll get an email on whatever is the case. You can check on it after 2-3 days

So basically 3999 k plan mein aap sirf 1 primary artist ko add kar sakte ho while releasing, agar aap aur primary artists add karoge to per primary artists 999 ka charge lagega. You can add your friend as a featured artist instead of primary artist, to nahi lagega koi extra charge

Thanks Brother, for explaining process as live helps a lot. I have a question, it will be good to get your guidance, really appreciated. My brother is lyricist and he produce songs, by hiring well-known artists, composers and music studio etc, basically he owns the music legally. He has few albums now (each album contains 6-8 songs) In your video, 'PAY-PER-RELEASE' is pretty clear, so I understood, we can go with 'PAY-PER-RELEASE-Album' where he can defined his name as 'Main/Primary Artist' as Writer/Producer and then add other artists (singer, composer etc). Question is - If we go 'Professional - Unlimited Plan', can we do the same thing, as we can mention his name as Primary artist and other artist as secondary (eventhough these artists are well-known and have many other songs released on their name already)? Which one suits us better ?

See, who all you want to keep in primary artist is totally your call and also depends on the type of contracts you've done with fellow artists. Also if you take the unlimited professional plan, you'll have to pay an extra ₹1000 per artist if you have more than 1 primary artist in any of your releases. So the price they quote includes only 1 primary artist, then it's additional ₹1000 for every new primary artist.
