Does the string get stuck every 2 - 3 minutes? Wish I didn’t buy this.
@ridinwithricky6444
@ridinwithricky6444 11 ай бұрын
@@brianhagerman7 I’ve never had an issue with the string getting stuck, on my trimmer. I’d be lying, if I said that my string has never gotten stuck, usually if it has, I myself, have either put it on incorrectly or used a thinner gauge string. Have you converted the head and used the serrated blades? Those work really well. They do wear down, after a while but they’ll never bind up or get stuck.
@brianhagerman7
@brianhagerman7 11 ай бұрын
@@ridinwithricky6444 I’ve only used the string that matched what it came with and I haven’t tried the blades. My cheapo whacker works better than this. Plus mine throws debris everywhere. I have to avoid any areas that have poison ivy bc it’ll launch it all over me. Are there no attachments? Maybe I got a lemon or something.

The spring in the middle of the head blocks the string line from running through. So you have to take the whole thing apart. I spent an hour and a half trying to just run it through and it is literally impossible.

The problem is that most people expect a short line just lock in place. The minute you make it long it confuses people. Basically it has extra line storage for no reason beside gimmick.
