So my question is can I solder in a contact switch on the "X" button to use a external handbrake for a racing game that supports 2 controller inputs? (I can use my steering wheel and/or DS4 controller at the same time. My game/wheel just doesn't support a handbrake. Using the contact switch when I lift the handbrake making the game think I'm hitting the "X" button.

Do you know what is the part that get faulty on the 050 and 055. That make the boards just dead... no light no power. Nothing. I think its caused by charging with fast charger. With current higher than 2 amps

I need a new jdm 040 for my scuf impact because I fried mine by trying to desolder the left analog stick like in your tutorial ^^ well I dont blame you because I probably just did it wrong... so do you know, where I can get a new jdm 040? Or what controller should I buy which comes with it? Because that would be my last chance of repairing it and it costed 250€ so I would rather buy a 60 euro controller and exchange the pcb than buying a new scuf... Well even better would be if I could order a working jdm 040 somewhere else... Do you know where I could gwt one or would you even sell me one?
