Please humor me. How effective would Remdesivir, broadly speaking, not just all anti-viral drugs but giving a patient Remdesivir, who has antibiotic resistant pseudomonas, actually help them? It's been studied and shown to cause pneumonia as a possible side effect, wouldn't that worsen the bacterial spread of the pseudomonas if that happened? And it's an anti-viral against a bacteria so it doesn't make sense why it would be recommended in the first place. This happened to a loved one and the bacteria ran rampant shortly after they gave them Remdesivir. They were intubated as well, no COVID either. So then is there any actual medical efficacy for using an anti-viral against pseudomonas?
