thank you so much for this medeasy, it helped me a lot to prepare for my final exam. and for everyone asking how to memorize this, you either screen capture the chart at the end of the video, print it, and hang it on the wall in front of where you study so that you can always look at it:) but the best way to remember the antibiotics is when you become a doctor and will know which drugs are most commonly used (also first-line treatments differ slightly from country to country)

Hello! Remember this is not medical advice and each patient is different and each situation is different. Having said that, there are different therapies. One is bismuth quadruple therapy with bismuth, metronidazole, tetracycline, and a PPI given for two weeks. Another therapy is called triple therapy and can be a combination of clarithromycin (macrolide), amoxicillin, and a PPI for fourteen days.

It’s kind of unique as it works a bit differently but covers gram negative or positive anaerobes (very useful in GI system and for c diff). It can also be used for Trichomonas or giardia or vaginosis
