Honestly I have no idea how your channel hasn't become popular yet, as these videos are amazing and are so easy to understand and learn from. Keep up the great content and hopefully one day your channel will become famous!

Thank you so much for such a nice comment! For me, KZbin is a marathon so it takes me time to get famous... but don’t worry! As you mentioned, I’ll keep up the great contents and deliver them to more and more people someday! Stay tuned until then 😉👍

I'm just starting to learn some kanji and it's so daunting but this video has just made me feel a bit more relaxed and that although it's important to get it right, it also doesn't matter if my handwriting isn't perfect. This has really made me feel better about learning kanji, ありがとうございます

There's a thing about stroke order that I haven't seen many people talk about and that's that the correct stroke order is also usually the stroke order that feels the best to write. but if you find another stroke order that you feel feels more natural and still is ledgible, go for it.

stroke order is important for kanji lookup on online dictionaries, it's good to get started by crunching stroke order for a wekk, and then afterward periodically practicing just a little bit every day to keep the muscle memoery retention so you can always use stroke order as a way of looking up characters you see easily even if you don't know the pronunciation/furigana

That's definitely a great way!

chinese here and... the stroke order for 母 is a bit different. I was taught to write the rest of the character first before the 2 dots inside.

I think the bigger question is, "do you really need to write kanji in the first place?" I'll probably NEVER be in a situation where I have to write Japanese with a pen, and if I do, there's a pretty strong chance I'll be able to use my phone for assistance or get my meaning across with kana.

Crazy music - so intrusive!! It’s a shame as I think you had interesting things to say but I could only listen to the music.
