Trauma and brain injury are closely tied. As Jim was expressing loosely his accident in childhood, the changes in his learning and "personality" sounded at least as tied to the emotional experience as the physical. The longer I listen and study what I do, the more I understand "injury" overall and the ways of healing. Thank you for sharing your process.

I have a pretty decent vocabulary and can read just fine it's just that I never would actually sit down and read a book on my own time. I'm glad I started this year though it's been fantastic. Been reading a lot of philosophy and have some economic books ready to read after I'm done. I have a tough time remembering what I read though. My goal is to one day be able read and retain most of the information without having to keep re-reading and writing things down all the time.
