The remote desktop pc has to be on Windows 10/11 Pro as well for the remote desktop feature setting to work.

@ timestamp 3:14, under resolution, second checkbox down, you have "start session in fullscreen mode" checked. I think unchecking this will allow it to start in a smaller window size.

1 minute in and I'm already lost. You say "I'm assuming you have your credentials" what credentials? Where are they? Where did pull that random AF page from?

He clearly shows you. PC name (IP Address) and user name and password. You would get those either when you setup your remote computer or from someone that did.

nice but how to enable remote desktop when you not connect yet and you get this error We couldn’t connect to the remote PC. Make sure the PC is turned on and connected to the network and that remote access is enabled. Error code: 0x204

The credentials are your login creds from your microsoft account or the windows local account that you might have created.

This remote desktop application kills macbook keypad and trackpad. It's a huge glitch in MacOs. Literally you need to remove the application and rest VRAM and PRAM several times. Also must disable vault firewall. 😢

Great synopsis. Can't connect with Air M1. I connect with the iphone 13Pro, but when I disable mobile data on the phone, it also throws an error. This means that the Air M1 needs to be connected to the internet with a cable for it to work, which not many people use... Or has anyone figured out a way around it? Thank you
