How to remove 2002 bmw 325ci manual transmission

2002 E46 bmw 325ci manual transmission removal.

do we need to remove the fan assembly next to the radiator? someone said that when we tilt the gearbox to pull out the clutch assembly that it might damage the fan or radiator. Please let me know if this is unnecessary. thanks

aris navarro I have an electric fan and I didn’t need to remove it because I had enough room but if you have a mechanical fan check for clearance but I believe you should be fine
