You don't have to remove the front bumper all the way to replace the assembly. I was able to replace mine this morning thanks to this video!

Do you have to remove the bumper in order to remove the headlight? I've got a cracked headlight that I need to replace. I don't want to remove the bumper unless I need to.

JB.. I'm in your same situation and yes, I do believe that the entire bumper has to be removed to uninstall the headlights.. I've scoped things out a bit but, haven't actually gone through the process

@@Vdubin64bug , I did confirm that you do have to remove the bumper to replace the headlight. There is a bolt on the side of the headlight that is completely covered by the bumper. There is no way to access it without getting the bumper out of the way. I replaced my passenger side headlight a little over a week ago. The good news is, the process really isn't very hard. I followed what is shown in this video and one other one that I found (can't remember which one, sorry) and it went pretty smoothly. Didn't take very long and only had a couple of minor frustration moments. Good luck!

@@JB-uc4zv Thanks for the lengthy reply.. I totally appreciate it.. I have moisture in my driver's side headlight.. Had the same issue in the left tail light.. I just replaced the tail light even though it was a bit expensive.. I'm going to try and fix this headlight as I just restored it not long ago and removed the oxidation.. Thanks again.. I'm glad that things went smoothly for you..

No, you don't have to remove the entire bumper to remove the headlight.... Remove clips on top as shown, but depending on what side HL you're taking off, you can leave the furtherest 2 on. On the bottom, you just remove screws as shown but from the middle to the end where the HL you're taking off. On the top end side of the bumper, there is a black bracket clip you need to be careful, or you might break it. I used a small flathead screwdriver to help lift the clips on the bracket off... (bracket is held on in three places and the bracket stays on the car)... Once you have done that you can get at the nut on the side by just pulling back the bumper until where you can get that HL nut off...

Too easy. It's so nice not to have a 7 hour opening monolog! The only 2 things that would've made your video better would be; someone else holding the camera for you, and 10 seconds of "use a 10mm drill along top and bottom of front"
