How to remove a car headrest without a pin hole/2012 Buick Regal headrest removal

Most videos on KZbin or website have tutorials that are how to remove the basic head restraint/headrest. This shows how to remove a not so simple one easily.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm going crazy trying to get my headrests off lol I must be a dummy because I still cant get it. I see the little pin you are talking about but having trouble. Do I push directly down on the pin while pulling up on the headrest? Or do I pull the little pin up also? Please please help lol. Maybe I need a tool in order to push down on that little pin? It's hard to fit my finger in there.

You can use a screw driver or a butter knife and pull the pin towards the back of the seat and pull the head rest out at the same time. Hopefully that helps

@johnnyparrish4019 so if I'm sitting in the front seat, and I push the pin to the right, counterclockwise, will that work?

@@haylz3578 yeah, you can try pushing it both directions in case yours is different and whatever way it goes in is the right way and then you just have to pull the head rest out at the same time.
