I don't know who this man is, but he's been in nearly half of the truck mod videos I've watched. Who are you mysterious helpful man? For whom do you work? Thank you for passing your knowledge onto us.

Advantages of the drop in liner is that they are easy to clean and that you can slide things in and out. Getting a load of gravel/dirt/soil is not a concern that you're going to scrape your bed. If you live where there's snow, you will appreciate that you can push it out and off the end of the tailgate easy. Try that with a spray in liner. Spray in liners are good as long as they are perfectly sealed and the bed prep was meticulous. Once you get a cut to the metal, then rust will spread between the sprayed liner and the metal. I prefer the drop in's on work trucks, and leave the carpeting to grandpa's truck that he hauls a 2x4 once a year under his camper shell.

Aluminum does not rust so no worries obout the paint wearing off the bed. the entire body is aluminum.

Still rots. At least in the Midwest. Look at rims of the cars

Do you have to cut those fasteners off? Can't you pry them loose, to put them back on?
@justinhafner123832 жыл бұрын
He could but it's easier if your not planning on putting the liner back in

I want to remove the liner and clean bed then replace it. You cut the plugs now what? Can I get new plugs?
@grahamcarbonneau59972 жыл бұрын
Is that it is for the ford Bedliner the front clips?
@Realtruck2 жыл бұрын
Hey Graham, yes it is just those 2 fasteners near the top of the tailgate end of the bed. Remove any fasteners before you try to pull the liner out. Hope that helps!

Can you use the same screws for the panel after the liner is removed? If not what will I need to get?
@Realtruck2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Depending on the truck, the fasteners that hold that panel may be different, so if the screws that came out can't be reused, you'll have to match them up. We recommend removing just one, and taking it to a hardware store if you don't have proper hardware. It's been a while, but for this one, we believe we used an M4 screw with a washer.

Hey Dale, feel free to trash or recycle how you see fit!
