How to remove a Logo with Content Aware Fill in After Effects

In this short tutorial I will show you how you can remove an unwanted logo or badge using Content Aware Fill in Adobe After Effects.
The same technique can be used to remove other objects unintentionally captured in your video. In the video I show how to remove the mic which was accidentally caught in the frame.

I wish I could help. It may be related to your hardware. I never get any freezes in After Effects, but I have 32 GB of memory and am using a Nvidia RTX 2080 GPU. There are so many hardware congurations possible some may work better than others. Regarding the lag in playback. The first time you play a composition it runs slow due to rendering the effects, but second time it should play at full normal speed. I hope you find a solution.

Will this work with a text title? I have a video intro with a projector and it is projecting a title on the projector screen the title is no motion but as you see the title it zooms a closeup slowly towards it but the tittle stays in centerSo can I completely remove it and just have the projector screen background playing? And then I’m going to try to add my home title Hope to hear back from you thanks

It seems to me that this is quite a large area that you are trying to remove. I think after effects may struggle to fill any area that is too large as it doesn't know what exactly should be there. I may be misunderstanding your point.

I have never seen this but a quick google search reveals that it can happen if there are unusual characters in the filename or file path. Here is a potential solution that I found: "Solved this by excluding cyrillic symbols from project path/name. try to rename folder/project to usual latin."

i followed your steps and it worked it got rid of the text tittle but it left the shape that i drew around the text. can i do something can i change the opacity to clear it up

How do you mean that it left the shape that you drew around it? Do you mean that it is not properly blended at the edge of the mask or that you can still see the mask or its outline. If you switch off visibility of the mask or delete it does that help.

Is this related to your earlier question about the projected titles? If so maybe the problem is that the area you are trying to remove is large and after effects can't seamlessly fill such a large space.

The Video Darkroom It deleted the text title but when I delete the mask you can see actually where I remove the title it left an outline how can I get that to look like the rest of the background? Is there a way I can copy and paste the background layer on top of where I deleted the title so it will blend in or any other suggestions. Or even use the clone tool and just write over that spot will that work. Or what about if I may ask each letter separately but just go a little bit over each letter. Peter McClintock Going to try to explain it a little bit better LOL the text title is in the center of the projector screen The projector screen background is solid gray and the text title is white I drew a rectangle around the text title and it got rid of the text title but it also left an outline where I drew the rectangle around the text title I want to try to blend that part in Where it left the outline of the rectangle with the rest of the background so it would be one solid gray background. I hope I’m explaining it right LOL Can I use the clone tool and put pieces of the other background on top of the outline where the text was
