this works really well, thank you. my one suggestion to anyone struggling, is that if you twist the cam lock in the open position, you should have no problem taking the connected wood pieces apart, without needing to remove the cam lock. if you need to remove the cam lock for other reasons, this is the best method!

This video is an absolute godsend. Thank you both! Also, a few tips to help anyone else stuck in this predicament. You can use a piece of tape to create a grip on the metallic paperclip if you have sweaty palms like me. Also, when twisting the cam lock out try and find the sweet spot when gently pulling upwards to release the lock. ( This only applies if you have a screw latched onto the lock)Thanks again Zulfi Naqi!

I got the same problem but i found the easier and probably easiest way just use the tip of the scissor do the same thing gently twisting and pull it out. Off you go!

I had to clip both sides 9f the metal and make sure the cam lock was not either in the full screw/unscrew position, just in the middle (partly screwed in). Thanks 🙏

I literally just put a piece of sticky tape (dollar tree athlete tape) around a flathead screwdriver, wrapping it sticky side out, and that works perfectly and only took a minute to take out 4 of them.
