Little tips for big gains! I'll be doing this in the summer to clean the rads. We have a high limescale in the water here in Kent and I suspect the radiators have a build up in them as some are only luke warm with the heating on. They've all been bled too.

Limescale is a pain....fit a magnet to the flow and return pipes aswell mate...it will help keep your heat exchanger tickk di boo!

Watchin this, I cannot stop giggling.. Why? .. Because as I was working as chief engineer at big industrial factory some time ago.. And at urgency in the depths of winter, I had to do something with a segmented aluminium radiator in the director's conference room /Don't remember what/ but the tread on the the end segment snapped or something like that.. You don't know how fast that radiator was down in the workshop. I made a key for the segments on the milling machine and welded some extension .. Disassemble the segment /the bastards are left treaded/ .. Returned the radiator back up, turned on and that was it.. And that was my lunch beak 😁😁 .. Nobody knows that happened except me and the lad helping me with the moving 🤫🤫🤫 😃😃
