I'm so glad I found this channel! There isn't generally a lot of educational content on stop motion online, especially for someone who isn't in animation school. You broke it all down, and I'm learning so much. Thank you!

Thank you soo much!!! I have never been able to mask items on premiere pro because there are no tutorials for stopmotion. This is a very thorough and understanding tutorial.

Oh, I'm so happy to hear it. I might make another one showing how to remove a rig in After Effects. Would that be useful?

having a background with the lights off for shadows is something i just learned from you thanks for those who don't have premiere pro this can be done with photoshop or a free program called Gimp 2
@b6stopmotion1573 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the recommendations. I've heard of Gimp 2, but never personally used it. Photoshop works but takes a bit longer. Overall, Premiere Pro or After Effects are much faster, which is why most professionals use them.

Great video, but for my workflow here, I prefer exporting individual frames and removing whatever needs to be removed on Photoshop, simply because it has much better tools for this purpose. Most of the times, it's as easy as using the eraser tool to erase the rig while keeping a background copy on a lower layer; It's way faster than masking in Premiere, at least for me.
@b6stopmotion1573 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing. That can be faster for some, especially if you have a Wacom and you are familiar with actions in Photoshop.

The people who disliked this video actually loved it so much and turned the phone upside down and thought the dislike button was the like button. Awesome tutorial between!

Could you please do After Effects? Thank you for the tutorials and please make more videos.

This was very useful! But I do think that it would be a lot easier and faster if you instead just masked out the rig instead of the whole ball

If we have to objets ando two rigs in the sale scene?
@b6stopmotion1573 жыл бұрын
The technique is the same. Probably it would make more sense to mask the rigs instead of the objects. Rig removal is such a time-consuming thing! Good luck!
