If you own run shorts that have lasted for many years, eventually you may notice the liner has lost elasticity and support. There are also those who like to run with Tri Shorts underneath for additional support, to keep warm on cold morning runs, or for swim-to-run bricks. In this video Emilio shows you a quick and easy way to remove it.

I'm not going to lie, in the beginning I was a little hesitant about cutting my shorts but you made it seem really clear and by the end of your video I was done with my shorts. Thank you. I just followed the edge without cutting the actual shorts :)

You can tell he cut his shorts many time to be able to cut it in a minute. Took me at least 10 minutes as I didn’t want to accidentally cut the shorts itself.

Once you've done it the first time you end up doing it in all your shorts, so yeah you get used to it

I like running shorts because they're very light which is good in the Summer. I cut the liner out and wear them as shorts. If I were running in them as a sport I might be inclined to leave it in.

Sir, you are incorrect, the pockets in our short are not a part of the liner, they are on the outside of the body of the short.
