Another tip for smaller people - position the breaker bar so that it is resting on your hip, then push down on the pedal with your right hand and pull up on the other pedal with your left hand.

Amazing video. I thought i was doing something wrong and only my spindle was this tight. But we need more of these explanations. Can you guys do one, on how to remove the inner cable for the brakes? Nobody has a video for the rear brake. Shimano, there's a tonn, front brake is the same. But nobody seems to be replacing the rear brake line, and putting new brake on, with internal cable routing. Thanks love the video :)

The SRAM DUB cranks have very fine thread pitch and often times, it's very easy for the threads to seize. I had mine installed to 54Nm and after 6 months of riding, it was impossible to remove the cranks. I had to bring it to an LBS and have them tie the non-drive side crank to the chainstay using a couple straps. Then the mechanic used a breaker bar to yank the bolt loose. Since then I've applied anti-seize to the threads and torque less than 54Nm. Do you see this happening often?

Sorry for late reply, Yes! I do. Most likely coming from the factory this way. It's ridiculous, anti size sounds like a good idea for sram. I had a 6' breaker bar, (steel fence post) and wasn't sure what was going to break. I got lucky, but what an ordeal.

it was really tight, "a bear" you don't show how you used the breaker bar to get the 8mm crank nut loose. just showing after is not much help.
