If you are dealing with a bugger Torx joke bolt that won't come loose, let's say T-45, one sure-fire way to get it out is to tack-weld on a real bolt, with a hex head. Then use an impact gun to drive the toy bolt out. Torx bolts are a joke of the industry but we gotta deal with them often. If all fails, just grab the welder.

you only can use those methods if the part is on your bench ... hard to get grinder in place in the engine ... ;)

I have just replaced a turbo on a Ford C-Max 1.0. Its a pig of a job. What is not mentioned here in the video is the difficulty disconnecting the electrical connector for the oxygen sensor. The connector is at the back of the engine and very difficult to see meaning its hard to identify the trigger or clip you have to push to release the connector. You need a mirror with a light to first identity the trigger/clip/lever whatever you want to call it and then reach round with you hand or hands to release it.

Please help! Trying to remove steering wheel. T50 bolt is stripped. They used so much loctite tat Chevrolet and it won’t budge. What can I do? Thank you!

Has anyone had this same issue on a Jeep front seat bolt? Bought a tj that was rusted to hell but want to not hack up the seats any suggestions?

Yes. From what I understand its the Loctite that was originally on the torx T 50 bolt that makes it so difficult to remove not the rust. The solution is to use a butane torch and apply the heat directly to the head of the bolt for about thirty seconds. That should be enough to melt or at least loosen the Loctite compound and allow you to remove.

Sweet . Now how do I take out T37 bolt from under car seat that holds seat ? It’s stripped and damn it’s not a lot of space to o get in there as I want to change seats and can’t get them damn bolts out …
