Thank you so much bro I was just using my dads riveter behind his back and this happened I tried pushing dose jaws back with a screw driver so i could hopefully get both of them out but the screw driver just got stuck in there as well I tried pulling back the screw driver but its handle just ended up breaking while i was pulling While planning to hide it and just replacing it with an identical new one i though that searching about it wouldn't hurt anyone You saved my ass man Appreciate it

Thanks for the demonstration. It just helped me out this morning. First time using a rivet, got stuck on my first try, who do I turn to for rescue? KZbin of course. Took the machine apart, took out the pin, reassembled and riveted away with no more issues.

Very details. I have my Riveter gun for many years, the pin will stuck very time. Plan to by new one. But see your video. Find out I have been using the wrong tip. No more pin stuck. My methods is used one size up tip.

Did a lot of assuming in this video, drop them in? Line up with what? “ you can just see that” no, can’t see anything Can anyone recommend a video of someone who explains it better?

Best way is to not take the spring and bits out. Just take the first screw off, hold a finger over the spring, release the handle back to open, and let the piece fall out the front . (Front nipple should be removed) Then just put the back screw in and you are done.
