How to remove a stuck Woodruff Key - Scott Bonnar

A quick video of how I go about removing a stuck woodruff key on my scott bonnar model 45 PTO shaft.

Thanks so much, I was heating mine but not enough. And never thought to use side cutters. Came right out using your method and heating 5 mins map gas

Got one out by placing in vice, taking a plat piece of sturdy metal much like a flat head screw driver and give it a couple of good whacks on the end of the key. You will notice there is a little lip that you can grab onto and smack it.

I got one out by centre punching and drilling small hole then screwing a small screw into the hole then side cutters under the screw head and lever up

I put an ice cube on the key only and used the cutters
