How to remove Acura Integra AC controls and dash air vents

at 3:52 that cable is so damn difficult,on my 1996 acura integra...It comes out in a zig zag end,and goes into a small hole.. Its a pain in the ass...I don't have A/C because of that now.. All the other stuff lights up,and the hazard light + defroster come on,but not the bottom piece,as I have to try and re-connect it again in the morning...yours looks so much easier..

my 00 integra is stuck on cold air the nob that slides back and forth between cold and hot is still there it just isent attached to the lever behinde it that controls the heat any ideas how to fix it i jist bought the car and i live in canada and its about to get real cold

What if I buy a new center dash air vent which comes with none of those buttons below where you select the direction of air, feet, windshield, AC etc, how do I connect those buttons to the new unit? Could you show that?

nice video. if one wants to replace the bulbs for the climate temp & fan switch lever knob only, can it slide out far enough to get access to the bulbs without disconnecting switches?
