Excellent instructions, my Amp is very tempermental... most cold mornings there is no sound... then once the car is warmed up etc and you've turned it off, gone and done some shopping etc... It works like normal. crazy cars these R230's.

Amazing beautiful car and professional clean work. Question R230 come with fiber optic amplifier cables if upgrade to aftermarket sound system still can used the original amplifier with fiber optic cable. Waiting help

You may use an RCA output to Fiber Optic convertor in order to keep the original amplifier.

To upgrade head unit to aftermarket unit Apple carplay or Chinese android in any car but we focus in r230 2003 with fiber optic amplifier. Stock orginal uint work fine convert to android head unit to work with the original system in car. What the extre parts need without cutting any wire harness. Adapters converter, iso power..... Etc. I removed all the screws and panels but the cd changer cabinet does not come out it seems something else is holding it in

If you remove all four screws, 2 on each side it should come out easily.
