THANK YOU! VERY MUCH! Disconnecting the battery didnt work. Pushing any combo of buttons didnt work. Trying to insert a CD into a fully loaded changer didnt work. A notebook card didnt work. A plastic card with sticky side up shipping tape didnt work. Sticking another CD (old TurboTax CD) didnt work the 1st time... BUT... After watching your video, I tried the "TurboTax CD as a lever method while simultaneously pressing Eject" method again. After 3 tries, and using much more up-down leverage force, it finally worked!!! My 2011 Honda Pilot OEM 6 CD changer finally spit out a damaged Michael McDonald CD! THANK YOU AGAIN! I was dreading an expensive trip to the stealership!

It WORKS! the method that uses a CD to jam into the player with the stuck CD, about half-way, and it 'freed-up' something inside, wiggling helps and the machine spits out both! That saved me hours of having to remove the bezel, mounting rails, etc and digging into the CD player! THANKS VERY MUCH

Yes it worked!!! Thank you. I used your second idea (the sticky credit card). After jiggling the card, one CD came out. Then pressing eject, a second CD came out!! I’ve had this car six months, never using the CD player thinking it was broken- all that time it had 2 CD’s stuck in it. Thanks again!!!!

@alexandersanchez1035 I was doing the same thing in frustration! Thank you making me laugh, really laugh. 😅It was a comfort to know I wasn't the only one with this ridiculous issue! I have a Honda Pilot with 1 CD player on top near the radio & 6 more down below. I had all 6 filled and they were working just fine. Then I decided to take the CDs out of the bottom to put another 6 in, and that's when I started to have problems. Thankfully, I got all 6 CDs below out somehow and was just using the top one. But yesterday when I got a new battery put in from Advance Auto, the one CD pop out a little when the guy was putting in my new battery, so I just pushed it back in. Didn't think to take it out. After that, it would not play, just gave me a "err" message as I am hitting every button on the console. Now the radio won't play either ?? I now have hope to use one of these methods to get the only CD I have in OUT!!! Thank you for making me laugh! I really needed that! I have a tendency to take myself too seriously, but getting better about that and giving myself some slack like I do easily with other people.

PTL 🎵 Plus the CD I used and ruined, I was able to call the ministry and because they give a lot of ther teachings away for free, they were happy to send me another + 2 more of that series. So it worked out better than if I didn't get the CD stuck in the first place!! I so appreciate the fact they anyone can google just about any problem and get help. Fantastic. Thanks so much for offering more than one way to remove a cd. It worked for me using method number 1, after I'd already tried method 4 that I'd heard about (which didn't work). My dvd was stuck in a TV with dvd slot incorporated into the TV. Really like having the explanations about why it works, as well as more than one option. Very happy, I can re-watch my favourite films again.

I got bored tonight as of this comment and remembered that my mother had a No Doubt CD stuck in the CD player of a 2006 Equinox. Found your video and got the idea to wrap Gorilla tape around a plastic knife and managed to get the disc 10 years later. It's not beat up, just some scratches, and it plays like it normally does on my computer's CD player. Now to put it back into the car's CD player. LOL

Brilliant! Thanks a lot. It worked first time with a plastic knife an reversed sticky tape. A good idea to twist the tape too in case it slips off the knife. I'd had a cd stuck in the player for a couple of years! It got a bit monotonous!

@@jjnorth2359 I had to think then! It was a Billy Joel CD. A good sound, but it had been stuck for about two years or more and I was glad when it was out. A thousand mile drive back to the UK from our home in France and return was a bit much! It was handy to have removed it, as I sold the car shortly afterwards!

Excellent video. The first attempt failed, but pressing down along the top of the card with the screwdriver helped the tape underneath the card stick to the top of the cd. I was then able to lift the cd and remove it. Thank you!

Wow you're a lifesaver. I use a blank CD disc to push in there and wiggle around and hitting the eject button at the same time. After three or four attempts, it finally came out far enough or I could grab it and pull it out. I put it back in to make sure it played OK, hoping I didn't damage anything inside. I tried the credit card trick...didn’t work. I then tried adding a second CD. It took me like 8 tries of wriggling the thing in the CD player. Nothing. I then sat back in my seat, dejected. I pushed it back in w/o thinking any thing of it and it got stuck ??
