If the brewing unit feels stuck. It can be because of the machine was turned off incorrectly. Try turning on and off again.

I have the same problem. Getting hot water instead of coffee. Ground coffee left inside the machine. And this is the 2nd brew unit for my EQ3 s500!!! WTF, Siemens?
