You actuaĺly can do it without disconnecting the lower control arm. You need to pry the strut out, but its possible

Are they that hard to get out? Wouldn’t jacking up the wheel a little to align it make it a little easier? Just asking, boutta replace my struts my self soon

How did you get that bolt at 6:00 to hammer out so easy?? Mine is stuck in there. It’s the only thing I have left

I think the only way to take it out is using a hammer , and dw40 .don’t use torch

I'm pretty sure it would be easier in a 2wd since the cv axle wouldn't be in your way
