Thanks man. I just got mine with the torch and an adjustable spark plug wire puller. No damage to the valve guides either. Most people were telling me techniques that would have damaged the guide.

It took me 15 mins without heat to get off just ONE valve stem. Now I can take off each one in about 15 to 20 SECONDS! Thank you so much for posting this video!!! @myton

What is the difference? Why use oem over supertech? I’m asking cause i literally just ordered supertech seals
@MITONFILMS4 жыл бұрын
If doing an OEM build like I did, just use what the manufacturer put on as it's intended to last 100k+ miles

I installed super tech valve stem seals on my b18c1 3 times in a row already and it's still leaking like a biatch into the combustion chamber. FML lol anyways just ordered OEM so hope it'll solve the issue.

Do you actually have to remove the head off the block or can you do it without removing the head
@GarageBuiltHondas7 жыл бұрын
The Supertech are usually cheaper than the OEM valve stem seals. Seal just as well as OEM, possibly even better maybe. Instead of the BBQ lighters, you could get the valve seal puller for only $12 shipped off eBay. It would save a lot more time than heating those up. Just thought I'd offer some insight for future reference!! Keep at it buddy!!

+Jon Widmer Yea you are right, i just wanted to show that if you dont have one you can still do it.

You put money building something. But not buy correct or did decent tools to do the job right. Could do more damage not installing it right and then having to pull apart to do it again. But then again it be another video.
