I’m working on a 1974 Honda XL70 replacing the clutch right now. Just was curious about that nut. Also noticed 2:17 A/C condenser engaged 😂😂😂. I like the idea for hanging onto that clutch assembly. 👍

If you leave your plates in you can just push them with your fingers while you take it off with a impact an it won’t spin

that sucks man. yeah, i personally wouldnt apply any force to those, they are just meant to hold the springs. hey are tall and could break off applying force to them. his ratchet strap idea is interesting though. it would pull to the side though, so not ideal. but it should work without issues.

U don't need to hold it just use impact gun an be done with it I never use clutch bassket tool I have one

What size socket did you use?
