How to Remove Aquarium Sand

Just want to mention that sand holds beneficial bacteria so if you have residents in your tank then not to remove all of the sand in one day as you'll remove beneficial bacteria aswell and it can crash your cycle if you don't have lots of filter media xx

Thank you, I'm making my tank a planted tank so I'm putting organic potting soil at the bottom and capping with the sand again.

I had a nice little beach beside my aqua soil. I loved it, but my Kuhlis had other plans for that beach. Every night they have beach parties and bring dark aqua soil on the beach. I tried to clean but I can't keep up. So here I am.

Lol I did it the long way. Removed the water then took out the sand by hand -_- 🤡
