How to:
Remove the Audi steering wheel, paddle shifters, trim etc on;
A1/S1 - 8x (2016-2018)
A3/S3/RS3 - 8v (2012-2016)
A4/S4/RS4 - b8 (2012-2015)
A5/S5/RS5 - 8t (2012-2016)
A6/S6/RS6 - c7 (2011-2018)
A7/S7/RS7 - g8 (2015-2018)
Q3/RSq3 - 8u
Q5/Sq5 - 8r
This guide will hopefully be handy for those planning to change their steering wheel, airbag cover or paddle shifters.
I'm not great at making videos but I've said I need to make more instructional videos so here it is. Excuse the waffling and fumbling.
With the wheel off the car, you can see the mechanism clearly for releasing the airbag, ots super tricky! as you can see in the video, even with the wheel off the car it can be a handful!
I also cover removing and separating paddle shifters from their modules, which is handy for those wanting to install our carbon fibre paddle shifters.
Please do not attempt if you are not sure what you are doing or don't have the skills or equipment. Please consult a professional before undertaking anything seen in this video.

Thanks :) it's pretty resilient, don't be afraid to give it a good lever out, the little plastic shelf isn't very big and is unlikely to breqk

Can you provide any explanation for how to remove the steering wheel buttons from the black plastic trim piece.

Once the trim piece is off, flip it and look where the buttons join the main piece on the 'wings' they are levered in with retaining pegs, the trim is also quite springy so they'll also normally just push out also

Hi quick question, will i be able to fit the button parts from a round steering wheel (audi s5 2012) to a same year steered wheel but this one is flat bottom? Thanks

I wouldn't be able to say without seeing both sets of buttons but normally yes, they're the exact same, however the trim pieces are often different and would need popping out of the trim.

Hello, do you know the part number for the screws that hold the paddle shifters to the steering wheel? I'm retrofitting my steering wheel with paddles and I believe I may need to order the screws.
