How to remove battery and replace on peugeot 307, 308 and Citroen C4

Procedure for Battery Disconnection.
Whenever a vehicle battery has to be disconnected, switch off all equipment interior lights etc. close the doors leaving the
driver's window down.
Switch off the ignition and remove the key.
Wait a full 3-minutes before disconnecting the battery.
Procedure for Battery Reconnection
Wait 2 minutes after battery reconection before open dors and start engine.

Extraordinar video, cu ajutorul video-ului am schimbat bateria la Citroen Berlingo Multispace model 2010. Singura diferenta a fost ca am avut loc sa scot bateria fara a desface complect gura de aspiratie, a fost de ajuns sa scot doar furtunul din placa de protectie. Multam mult, chiar am economisit niste bani cu ajutorul tau.

Businness guys.. Businness, So that a normal person would take the car to the service or local car repairment just to replace the Battery ( the easyest job after the light replacement in the old car, like fiat punto 95 or older)

Salutare! Doua observatii ! 1: Cand ai scos borna de "+" si ai dat-o deoparte exista riscul ca aceasta sa atinga un punct de masa(-) ceea ce este = cu a conecta ( scurtcircuita) bornele de "+"si "-" intre ele. Asta poate avea grave consecinte asupra ECU, BSI, end shets...care mai au stocata tensiune in condensatori, iar un varf de tensiune le poate distruge. 2. Exista o procedura de decuplare a bateriei si de recuplare a acesteia pentru ca e interzis sa se lase BSI fara tensiune pentru ca isi poate pierde "memoria" si vei avea tot felul de probleme: Stergatoare care pornesc singure sau nu se mai opresc, semnalizari care nu mai functioneaza, geamuri care nu se mai ridica pana sus...etc. Cel mai sigur se foloseste un disp.numit OBD2 memory saver care este practic o mufa obd2 care se conecteaza la mufa obd a masinii si la celalalt capat doi clesti cu cabluri care se conecteaza pe o a doua baterie INCARCATA si abia apoi scoti borna "+" la bateria masinii, iar BSI nici nu va sti ca a pierdut bateria. Atentie! Odata borna masinii deconectata ea se izoleaza electric pt.ca are tensiune de la a doua baterie prin mufa obd2. Mai revin cu o mentiune la punctul 1: Scurtcircuitarea bornelor masinii in scopul resetarii tuturor calculatoarelor ei nu este permisa in mod direct ci prin intermediul unei rezistente de 1 sau 10 ohm nu mai stiu exact-urmariti-l pe Scoty Kimler pe youtube ,care vorbeste despre asta. Deci MARE ATENTIE nu e ca la Dacie! As fi vrut si eu asa simplu!

Good video, but what a place for the negative terminal!! As a rule ALWAYS disconnect this 1st, NEVER positive! You can short the battery or circuits.

@@AdrianDragan I did one last week. Took the top circuits etc off 1st, got a 300mm 1/4 drive extension with a extra long socket. Then the positive. 👍 Had to change the temp sensor at the back so all had to come off. What a crazy design 🤔

Hello Adrian, or anyone. I have a C5 and the battery clamp does not have a bolt. I'm talking about the main battery clamp that holds the whole thing in place. It is a plastic clamp with a square recess / hole in. I can turn it a bit but I can't remove it.
