How to remove black background from Landsat images in ArcGIS 10.4.1

Dear Tania, I tried this very simple technique to remove black background by editing " no values" with 0, though the background disappear, but it also changed the low values of raster from 0 to 63536, and it latter gives me wrong NDVI using 4 and 5 band of landsat 8 image.

Nice technique. But that was for a single Band. How do I remove such for Multi spectral band before mosaic.

Helpful.. Is there any way to get rid of the sensor lines from landsat 7 imagery?

Those images are almost impossible to clear out. Maybe try to use Landsat 4-5 instead. If you read Landsat 7 docs you will find that one of the sensor were broken when those images were taken.landsat.gsfc.nasa.gov/landsat-7
