How to remove BMW mcgard wheel lock if you lost your key!

Thank you so much for sharing this video, my friend! What worked for me in the end was to chisel the edges of the lug nut, remove the ring and then finally hammer on a 19mm, 12-point socket.

Thanks for your comment. I do not recall a specific brand. I do remember going trough something like that on a chisel until a bought something more expensive. maybe is just a low quality chisel??

@@mrmoreno4640 yes for $12 for set of 3 I think it’s not best quality. From the video it looks like Stanley FatMax Cold Chisel, $28. Will give it a shot

Best way is to buy a new set of nuts / studs when you buy the car, and put all standard ones before it has chance to go missing

Hello Michael, I'm not sure i know the name of the extractor. Just fits tight into the head of the stud once the bearing piece is removed. I believe I could have even used a regular socket.

The dealer will give you one for free….why would you do that. Catch a Uber to the dealership. There is absolutely no need to do that. Unless you live in the middle of no where. Or there is a thing called … Amazon.

Thanks for your comment. It is good to know that. My situation was at the last minute thing. The owner had to go quickly. However, I like to think there will be plenty of situations where the dealership or amazon isn't an option. Then, this video is for those situations. But I will keep your input handy.
