I think your channel would explode if you put all your videos on here for free. I know its taken you time and effort and everyone who was watched any of your videos has found them really helpful, but please stick em all on youtube and enable ad revenue. Great video - thanks for the upload. Perhaps you can solve this mystery - I have a 2007 Audi A4 Avant B7... I'm unable to open the boot using the rear handle/button - but I am able to open it using the middle button on the key... which seems bizarre! The motor driving the mechanism must still work otherwise it wouldn't open at all! Any advice is appreciated!

Hey there! Thank you, that's very much appreciated. We do put in quite a bit of work and effort, so appreciate the feedback :-) I'm trying to think from memory if you would be able to access the bulbs via the rear. I don't think you would be able to actually as under the two metal covers are the plastic housings for the bulbs, and I'm pretty sure (again, from memory!) those are mould in and don't pull off. This does happen quite a bit with those screws unfortunately. I've seen a far few with a second screw bodged in next to the original where they drill off the head (or it snapped off). You can drill the head carefully, but the issue is then getting the remainder of the screw out. You might be able to grip it with needle nose pliers and get enough to turn it. But if in there tight you could struggle. What a nightmare. Be sure to come back and share the solution for others if/when you find it! Thanks for your reply. I ended up drilling the heads like you suggested. It was a bit of a hassle, but it got the job done. No luck getting the lights to work though, must be the wiring. Just quick 1,my number plate lights are not wrking put new bulbs in still nit wrking,i removed the handle like in this video took it apart and did a meter test and the Circuit is fine,the boot switch has power but not the number plate lights..any ideas on what to do

We've filmed half of the rear bumper removal so far, and the second half will be filmed shortly. So shouldn't be too long before that appears hopefully (that said, we do have a mass of content to be uploaded!!) Yes, the DTM bumper should attached in exactly the same way. I'm sure they will have designed it to use the standard fixing point so you should be fine there!

Anyone help with this? I have this same setup but with a key lock barrel in the handle. I have tried for about an hour to get the lock barrel free from the handle so I can remove it, but it's stuck solid, there's no screw or bolt holding it in that I can see. I've done this before on my previous Audi A4 and this part was never a problem, so now I'm stuck!!!!

Hey there! Usually there is one screw. It stops the barrel from spinning when you turn the key. @@TotalTechnik Thanks for the reply. The bolt had been previously removed and that was what was confusing me, it wasn't there anymore! Once I realised that, I just turned the cylinder about 45 degrees clockwise and it came out easily.

Where exactly is the screw that connects the key chamber? I can't find it on my car.

Hey there, it's usually located on the rear of the key barrel. It has a small arm that comes off at the rear with a torx screw (just one). You may have to shove your head right under deep to see it as it's hidden right in deep at the back of the barrel. But usually, just pop out that one screw, and twist the barrel side to side whilst pulling and out it should come. Best of luck!
