The fact that you said this can be applied to many different models along with saying that the sensors are the same for the front and rear isn't entirely accurate for every VW/Audi. On my 2012 VW GTI the sensors are slightly different for the front and back and I'm not just referring to which side they go on. The tips of the sensors are actually shaped a bit differently. The rear sensors have a raised "bump" part on the tip that the front sensors don't have. Just something to be aware of.

Hello! A4 5 2001 sedan. Can you help me understand why when I press on remote to unlock the whole car, everything unlocks but not the trunk, and the vacuum pump which unlocks the car, runs for 20-30seconds instead of 2-3s. If in the moment the car unlocked, in press again the middle button on remote, the trunk unlocks succesfully and the vacuum pump stops right after trunk unlocking. Any idea?
