Does the amp control the rear woofer? Or does the woofer have a seperate control module?

Can I tap an aftermarket remote wire into any of the wires from the stock bose amp? I tried tapping into the pink wire connecting to the sub but no signal

Yes you can, just cut out the clock and dremel out a spot for a single din
