Not sure this reviewer knows how this car works as I have 2 of them with 30 yrs of driving between the 2 of them and most of this information is rubbish. Very reliable car. My 2010 FX50s has self healing paint and still looks new. My 2004 FX45 is still driving tight and looks new. Not much more to say but yes, change your oil, use shell nitro, and don’t drive the crap out of it! It will last a long time!

Very helpful information but I’m on my 3rd FX model in the United States and I haven’t experienced a third of the issues talked about in this video. If you want real problems get a BMW X5.

So you def recommend a fx? I’m looking into a used one. Some have miles in range from 120 and one has 155K. Do you recommend any of these and what signs to look for?

@@hhova29 slight interior damage in some used models. That’s more so due to carelessness of the previous owner. Nothing to really look out for mechanically other than doing your standard maintenance walk through with a mechanic before you make your purchase. You can pretty much judge the condition of the vehicle by the list price. All of the ones I’ve come across that were priced $12,000 and up were in perfect condition. The ones $7500 and lower not so much.

The manual does not recommend to change the tranny oil, its a seal transmission and shouldn't be changed unless the unit is taken appart.

That is False. Do you research , The transmission is supposed to be serviced ever 30k miles. I've done it 3 times at my tranny guys shop. There is no dipstick, only a fill and drain plug. Oil has to be pumped back into the tranny. If you don't service it by 125k your done.

2024.This is not a good review at all. I have a 2009 fx35 with over 210 thou. miles and it is still running great. The only major issue so far is the Diff Bushing, which i replace with the Z1Motor bushing kit, and all is good. INFINITI should bring this suv back, in the same fashion, as i now see all type of other mfg, are now making the same shape. But they are too expensive. The fx35 was just right.
