How to Remove Car Seat Base from Car

The same car seat base used in the video is a Graco and is available at the link below. We generally get Graco stuff, and so far it's pretty good for us. However, there are a bunch of others available that are also great, so do whatever works best for you.

My straps are impossible to loosen, no matter how hard I press the button. Seriously don’t know why.

It can be pretty tough! I struggle to loosen mine as well, but it will loosen! You can try pushing the button down hard while tugging the strap side to side- that usually works for me. Good luck!

It's a super cheap button. If you are pulling on the strap while someone else is jamming the button as hard as they can it should finally loosen a tiny bit. Then the button will work normally.

@@mustafanasafi8341 nope, i just sat on it to move it readjust where it needed to be, taking it out is a problem for future me, cuz i cant get it out

@@speakinmymind12 : Found solution. Carefully use a flat head screwdriver 🪛 to push the button and pull the strap loose with other hand. Be careful to not damage or break the button.

That button is a load of crap. I beat it with a hammer and it still won’t release. No video offers a solution.

Sometimes they are super hard! One thing that has helped us is sitting on the base while pushing the button to release some of the pressure.
