Bro thank you so much. This dash was beating me up! I was trying to replace my bfs radio and the clips on this car were making new question whether or not I could pull this off lol

Thank you for your video, finally someone with common sense direction. And you’re right, if you don’t like it then don’t watch it. Stay safe and be well my friend.

Hey man I have a 2000 buick century and the only difference is where you just popped your stuff off I had to unscrew it. Anyway THANK YOU SO MUCH man I could not find one good video and this was perfect. Thanks man!

Wow, man, thanks. I've got a spare deck that's been sitting around for close to two years that my father could really use in his car ('02 Century), and this is going to help immensely. I'll let ya know how it turns out!

Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2003 buick century yesterday and was wondering how to take apart the dash to get to the radio. This was very helpful and now I can install my radio from my old car, the stock radio's just aren't enough anymore. ^_^

Thanks for posting this video! It's about the only video I've managed to find of a '97-05 Century double din installation (or part of). Such things as the relay and the back up camera could be installed in the future after the stereo itself has been in place for a while, no? Also, the relay only benefits the continuation of video playback, correct?; without it, I could still use the screen for music, radio, etc. etc. except for watching videos while in drive.
@simplyastunna15 жыл бұрын
Colby Harvish little late but yes. Relay is only for continuous playback of video while driving. And yes everything can be installed after it’s just easier to do it all at once trust me. There was a lot of wires to stuff with little room behind it. Barely got it to sit right with the kit had to shave a few corners.

Don't know if anyone said this but you might want to disconnect the battery and wait for a couple minutes (It may be necessary to have power on when moving steering wheel park shifter?) so the airbags don't accidentally go off.
@simplyastunna15 жыл бұрын
gary2984234 excellent point. I was showing how to take the panels apart though. Thank you for the input. Great suggestion.
