Thank you TC. This is the most detailed video on Inspira/lancer dash removal video I have ever seen. Thumbs up and really appreciate you for sharing. Because of the GoPro focus setting, I seem to have missed on how to remove the board just below the passenger airbag. (that piece of dash where some owners will install a 3x60mm guage holder). Any advice on how that piece is held and can be removed? Thank you very much!

Thank you for your kind words. I don't think i removed the board. I removed it together with the entire dashboard. But looking from behind, there is a lot of screws holding it. That could be how you remove it. But looking at the angle, might be difficult to remove with the dashboard still in place. I know a place that just rip the entire board out and replace with CF 3 gauge panel.

Hey Tc, where is the video of you removing the steering column and the frame on the dash? Also in your next video in which you removed the white box that has the ac lines and heater core. Did you have to remove the ac lines in the engine bay?

I have a 2008 Lancer and it has an airbag in the front passenger side of the dash that's in the way..i cant remove the dash because of it.did you remove the air bags?

If i remember correctly, there is some bolts holding the airbag down. I don't think i removed the front passenger airbag, just unplug and unbolt then removed together with the dashboard if i remember correctly.

online like shopee and lazada has plenty. Search for "trim removal". get the bigger ones like the blue one i am using. The orange ones which is the smaller ones tend to bend a lot.

Tu sebab span sudah reput. Kena buka dashboard dan keluarkan seluruh AC unit dari dalam dashboard. Pastu kena carik pulak span yg sesuai tuk lekat. Banyak sangat kerja tuk repair.

Hello, I have a question, the dashboard on my 2011 inspira have creaking noise when rpm is around 1000-1300,which part should I take off and retighten in order to resolve it? Also,do you have loosen air vent problem? How to fix it or is there a replacement for it.Thanks in advance.

creaking noise... you will need to find the source. What i would suggest is have someone drive the car around or help you rev till 1000 - 1300 rpm, then you go around pressing the dashboard parts to identify where the noise is coming from. I HAD a loose air vent problem few years back, changed air vents to one i bought from China and never had the same problem ever again.

i actually did not have any rattling coming from the center console. But a friend of mine did bring his GTE to the service center and all they did was apply double sided tape to the bezel's white color clip and clip the whole thing back.

im doing this right now on an Evo X. What is the last screws or bolts holding in the back ? mine wont seem to give and just pull out? what did u do at 33:30 to get it to pop out ? thanks!

if i remember correctly....... i was removing the cover that is on top of the glove compartment..... which was totally not necessary. Just try to shake your dashboard a bit and see where is it still rigid, there will most likely be a bolt or screw or in my case (a cable still connected) that is holding it back. But if you are already at the stage of 33:30...... you are super close, DON'T GIVE UP.

Unless one has photographic memory.... its close to impossible to remember. One way would be to take photos or video of the removal so that its easier to identify which screw/bolt goes where. Another way would be to have a lot of small containers by your side and only store those screw/bolts/nuts of one panel in each container.

Half local parts, rebadged or however you want to call it, its basically the same base car. Both Mitsubishi and Proton owner would benefit from this video which is the reason why I tag it as both Inspira and Lancer.
