These bearing you replaced are sealed take one seal off the bottom leave seal off on topside and the top bearing leave off the the bottom seal off this way your bearings get grease in them they last a lot longer

I'm pretty sure the old bearings I took out of this John Deere did not have a Inner Seal for bearings. But your right the bearings I was going to replace them with were sealed on both sides, But I ended up Replacing the spindles as the housing was wore.
