I have found something that seriously reduces removal time! The RED ( Yes RED ) Close-up or Lavoris mouthwash... ( The brand sold at DOLLAR TREE ) swish first with warm water ( The Hotter the better ) then you swish with the red mouthwash, Then use baking soda regular tooth paste and brush your gums, it might take a few minutes. but I promise you it works. ( Here is why I think it works!!!) this CHEAP mouth wash is high in red dye 40, these artificial food dyes are petroleum based. and the petroleum breaks down the adhesive, you can feel it break down, then what ever is left you just use Baking soda or baking soda tooth paste to brush out the rest. occasionally they is a tiny bit left to scrape out.

@@sallygotdentures after reading another comment! It is worth noting... Lavoris can be ordered by the case from Dollar Tree, and due to the dye, It COULD BE DISCONTINUED! That will be a tragedy for me!!! 😔😭😔

I hardly ever wear my dentures but when I do I found that just "cold water" works for me to clean my gums. I swoosh it around and suck on my gums then spit it out. Doing that a few times usually works. With the little bit little bit that might be left I rub it with my finger and repeat with the cold water. I found hot or warm water doesn't work, only cold water. My problem with dentures is all the food that gets in there. Its disgusting seeing that when it comes time to take them out. I also catch myself constantly grinding them which is annoying. I only wear them when I go in public or visitors come over which isn't to often. I eat without them.🦷😮

@johnsmith6368 the cold water is a good tip. I agree about the particles, it is gross. Thank you.

I have no problem removing anything, if I could find something that actually works. Nothing worse than a wet goopy adhesive,(even when they say waterproof. As long as I don't drink or eat anything I can get about 5hrs. If I eat anything forget it. I just take them out & gum it. And the waterproof adhesive 😂 is a wet mess that I just wipe away with a paper towel. Lavoris mouthwash, which I thought all cinnamon mouthwash was taken off the market. So, I found it on Ebay. Why then get rid of everything I like is a nightmare for me. Mint & Spearmint make me sick. Thank You.

@@bonniehonchell9963 Yes, thank you!! Everything you just said is spot on. BusyButerfly02 commented also about Lavoris and finds it at Dollartree, maybe that will help.

I have had similar trouble! My dentures are Garbage! Due to massive bone loss! My favorite adhesive is the powder! I have tried several! But I do know that less is more on ALL of them!

@@ABusyButerfly I use Secure with powder fixodent, or the Secure strips. I use more because I'm also using as a liner. I ordered a bag of Thermoplastic beads to do something about my lowers.
