Those have timing system built into flywheel and a little different than the norm

Hi. I'm actually planning on doing a video soon on the wiring repair. I have several wires to repair. I'll be walking through the wiring diagram and putting on some new terminal ends using the proper style fittings. Hopefully should be out in the next week. Good luck with your project.

Im having a timing issue with mine Have fuel Spark and compression but not starting # Purchased 2 years ago and had been setting since 1975 so working the Gremlins out

Yeah, mine as well, I ended up rebuilding an entirely new wiring harness. When I got done I wasn't getting any spark. Now has been sitting for a bit again. Hopefully, the weather will break here soon on the east coast and I'll get back to it and get it running.

Why didn't you use a spanner on the flats of the tool rather than jamb one between the flywheel and the footrest, that's what they are there for.
