My 2012 Pilot besides the retainers you pulled from the bottom had additional recessed retainers and 2 10mm bolts were also used as recessed retainers. I could never get the thing off until I found those.

Same thing with my 2015......that entire black belly pan piece that goes from the lower radiator support to the front cross member has to come off with the bumper

2012 to 2015 bumper setup is slightly different from 2009 to 2011 models.

On my 2015, that little black belly pan piece from the lower radiator support to the front cross member needs to be removed with the bumper.......it is 2x 10mm bolts and the rest of the little breakable black clips on the underside, including one black clip on each fender liner
