I have an 04 civic lx coupe and have removed all the clips and bolts from the front bumper but it still won't come off. The sides popped out just fine, however when I try and pop the rest, it seems to tug on the headlight assembly. Is there anything I might have missed?

I am looking to replace what you just removed in the video. When I look for it on the internet, it is referred to as a bumper cover. What is the difference between a bumper cover and a bumper? Is it the same thing and just being called by a different name?

Andres Corona A bumper is the actual structural steel member that absorbs the impact energy. In the 80s and back further, most bumpers were on the outside and either chromed or covered in plastic but were clearly a bumper. Today, with the desire for aesthetics and aerodynamics, the bumpers are hidden under huge trim panels called bumper covers.

Are the bottom clips the same as the top clips. Mine bottom ones are all missing. My guess is that the bottom clips are the same as the evil-looking-serrated-pinch-jawed bottom clips on the rear bumper, correct?

You'll have a much easier time dealing with those little black plastic "body clips" using a pair of "push pin pliers", available from both Lisle and Harbor Freight.
