You new softail guys got it easy😂. I've got to contend with the tank cross over tube that is routed under the frame. My vise grip pinch off tool works pretty well in preventing getting completely douched with the high octane go juice 😅😅. Only 2 spark plugs on my twin cam, so that cuts back on the number of times the tank has to come off.

What is the size hex bolt to get the front screw lose? Mine are too tight and I think I'm not using the right size? can't get a first fit.

@@NorCal-refrigeration there is one on each side. I'm thinking they both have to be turned opposite each other left to loosen. the one on the left side is like a bullet and the other on the right side, a hole that I think you fit a hex driver into? lol! Sorry man I'm not good with naming stuff.

Thank you for the video (though I haven't finished it yet; I'm mainly interested in removing the fuel tank so as to mess with the USB dongle. At 4:15, where you lifted the tank out, I didn't see in any portion before that where you removed any electrical connection from the tank. How does the fuel level sensor connect? Or is it some connection up through the top of the tank that was removed with the console? Thanks again!

Oem plugs came in kit. And yes on anti seize. And dielectric grease
