How to remove fungus In AF-s Nikkor 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G ED VR DX PART 1

In this first video of 3 parts I will show you how it's possible to remove fungus In AF-s Nikkor 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G ED VR DX.
I will fully disassemble the lens and cleaning as much as possible of the lens elements, that was infected by Fungus.
I don't have the repair manual and I could not find anywhere. When working with this lens it's very important to set many small marks during the disassemble process, because it's the only "backup" when assemble the lens again, it's also important to take a lot of pictures that can also help in the assemble process.

NOTE: Do NOT! use Acetone on platic part's, it will damage / melting the plastic!!!

@mlungisi1702 I also have this lens without grooves in the front element retaining ring. You need to unscrew it using a rubber removal tool, and then the same can be done for the front lens element.

I think it should be possible for you to unscrew the front ring with one of the rubber cone tool, there could be some thread lock, so you have to use 2-3 drops of Isopropylalcohol 99% or 75-80% on a cotton bud, and you add it on the thread and let it sit 20-30 second, and then try to unscrew it, if not working, then try with more Isopropylalcohol.... etc. etc.
