Thank you so much for your videos! About the fungus in the lens. His controversies are growing in different directions. Specifically, on the lenses we see the spores of the fungus, but on the component parts we cannot see it without a microscope. If you clean the fungus only on the lenses, then there is a possibility that after a while it will all return to the lenses. The fungus also kills sunlight with its ultraviolet light. If the lens is not used for a long time, it can be stored closed. Then the fungus begins to grow. The best way to destroy fungus completely is artificial ultraviolet light for disinfection of rooms and laboratories. If a person has a poor immune system and has a fungus in the body, the spores of the fungus can reach several kilometers in the body. Also in the lens. When watching the video recently I saw the use of a square LED lamp. You can attach an ultraviolet lamp near it, and when all the insides of the lens are laid out on the table, you can turn it on for 10 ... 20 minutes to make a break. Then turn all parts 180 degrees and disinfect again on the other side. Do not forget about special glasses so as not to burn the retina of the eye and remove pets from the room.

Amazing work, you are brave to even attempt it! I have the same lens and no fungus but a hair inside, I don’t think I could do all of this just because of it 😅 Keep up the good work and thanks for both videos!

The lens teardown is incredibly complex. Did you have a schematic diagram to work with?

Thanks, I could not at all find the repair manual for this lens, so I work without the schematic diagram.
